Nate's "Our Life" character leads the locker room number that shatters the image of Nate, who all of a sudden is a gay-rights activist who walked out while claiming it was homophobic.

A tremendously effortless homoerotic musical number to "Holding Out For a Hero" proves to the Euphoria fandom on Twitter that the only woman who can defeat Nate Jacobs is Lexi Howard herself. But Nate's portrayal is even better and more aggressive than whatever the love affair would've given. The play isn't entirely explicit in the relationship between Cassie and Nate, but then again, Lexi wasn't 100% sure that they were together. To Lexi, Cassie's only pursuit in life is to have sex, which is obviously a much deeper and internal struggle that Cassie has to deal with. Cassie's portrayal as Hallie isn't atypical of her, but it's also not exactly respectful either. But once that time came, Lexi never achieved the physicality that Cassie did, but Lexi convinced herself that it was for the best.

Cassie was always the beautiful one, Lexi claims, and Cassie's blossoming in puberty was what Lexi looked forward to the most. Cassie's may have been the harshest out of all the people portrayed in the play, given Lexi has typical younger sibling syndrome when it comes to her sister.
